Donya Marandi

I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. From a young age, I’ve been intrigued with the field of nursing and the chance to help others. Now, with a decade of nursing experience, I am set to take the next step in my career and join the ranks of nurse practitioners!

I have experience in long-term care, wound care, medical/surgical, surgical intensive care, pre-operative, ambulatory surgery, and post-anesthesia care units. I pride myself on creating and maintaining rapport with patients, family units, and the comprehensive care-providing team.

I am passionate about patient education, affordable and accessible mental health care, and the massive benefits of preventative medicine. I offer an open and empathetic relationship with my patients, built on mutual trust and decision-making. I believe a collaborative, holistic approach to health is key and I am ready to put my skills to work.

I plan to further my education by obtaining post-graduate certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
